Ferzli/Ferzly/Firzli/Forzley Family No matter how you spell it, it's still the same family name in Arabic. We all hail from the town of Furzul in the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon.  For practical reasons, we will use Ferzli to represent the family. Where does the name Ferzli come from? Ferzli comes from Firzol which can mean two things: parzla from Aramaic/Syriac and it means Iron or Iron Mine. Also, it could have come from two Phoenician words "Peraza (Feraza)" and "El" which means the "god El protect his rank, place and territory." So, Firzli means he who comes from the Iron Mine or he who comes from El's rank, place or territory which the god El protects. The time in Lebanon now is: !!!This site is still under construction!!!
